What is High Detail Plastic?

High Detail Plastic is a 3D printing material used in MultiJet Printing (MJP) technology. MJP is a 3D printing technology that uses an inkjet-like process by depositing photo-curable resin (part material) and casting wax (support material) layer by layer. The casting wax serves as a scaffold for the photo-curable resin and is then melted away, leaving only the part material. Parts printed using this technology have smooth surfaces suitable for concept models, form and fit testing, and other applications. MJP also offers the highest resolution of any printing technology on the market with fine feature details with layers as thin as 16 microns.
